Featured Forgotten
All it takes is ten bucks and a Dell to get a domain name- and it appears
everybody is doing it. Here we present Nick Bakay, former co-host of the easily forgettable
Night after Night on Comedy Central and current ESPN magazine columnist. Oh, he
was also the voice of the animatronic cat on Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Well, at least it
pays enough to support the site.
The site itself is very poorly designed. For one, it uses a black background, a color scheme
generally favored by Metallica fan sites and astrology web rings. Additionally, it's navigated
using a series of cheap clip art icons on the left side of the page. There's a nice jpeg
of the star of the page, an autographed photo, right smack in the middle. Not exactly the
epitome of suave HTML.
In terms of substance, the site is annoying. For one thing, it's exceptionally difficult to
figure out what exactly Bakay is seeking to do here. Is it highlighting his never funny columns?
Mock his own unimpressive yet, admittedly, somewhat succesful career? Who knows.
Note the presence of his wife's columns too- did he really have to drag here into this?
So here's the once famous Featured Forgotten site for this month.
You probably didn't know him before, but here he is....
The site, is at:

THE "FF TALLY"
Site Design: 1/2 Star- It's painful. The site has the
style of a 1989 Dunkin Donuts and the comfort of a 1988 Dodge Daytona.
Site Content: 1 Stars-
What. Is. He. Trying. To. Do. Here?
Self-Humiliation Level: 4 Stars- Just take a look- even if you
don't know the guy- you'll see this site is hurting his rep.
